Good afternoon, all.

If we have not yet become acquainted, then please, allow me to introduce myself. I am Sebastian Michaelis, another recently arrived Outsider, and most pertinent for why I make this address today, recently employed on LILITH’s base here in Neo-Tokyo. My official title is the kitchen manager for the cafeteria, but as needs must, I have taken on some additional responsibilities. I may not be in service to my lord here, but I still feel it important to best offer my skill as a butler.

First, on matters of food.

I am attempting to improve the menu on offer in the cafeteria, and I hope that anyone that has stopped by to try the improved offerings in recent weeks has enjoyed them. However, I would very much like to expand such offerings. If there is a particular dish that you find yourself missing, please, do let me know. I will endeavor to recreate it with your assistance, though I can make no guarantees. If you have a recipe I can follow, all the better.

Second, on matters of facility maintenance.

While our automated services are adequate, I do believe that the order and cleanliness of the base could be improved. Thus, the additional responsibilities I have taken on. If you find any part of the base in disrepair or would perhaps like your personal quarters cleaned regularly, please let me know. It would be my pleasure to do so, as a tidy home makes for happier people.

If you would like a full list of services I offer, I would be glad to provide it. I simply fear that this is already a rather long announcement.

[ This response takes a while, which is probably telling... He really has to think about it, because honestly? No. He doesn't. But there's at least something that comes to mind that's close enough. ]

I do not know if it qualifies as a hobby, exactly... But I adore cats. I do my best to find a good home for any strays I come across.

This is also a possibility. I saw that three of the options were structured so that you could adopt the cats. If I meet an especially enchanting creature, it may force my hand.

I simply thought it may be irresponsible, given the unpredictable nature of our work. I would hate to leave such a darling creature to fend for itself when I pledge to its care.

But I am also weak when faced with such temptation directly. I will at least limit it to only two so that they may at least have each other as companions while I am away.

I am just as much a bodyguard to my lord as his housekeeper, so I am proficient in combat situations? But that does not come up nearly as often as things like knowing how to make a truly perfect cup of tea, honestly.

I favor knives, yes. Is that a predictable thing?

I would also say that I am proficient in hand-to-hand combat in general and skilled with firearms, though the latter is with quite the caveat now. The firearms I am used to are not nearly so advanced as what is offered here, so I have been training to improve my skill with more modern fare.

I shall add it to my ever-growing list of things to learn about. The year I come from seems almost primitive compared to here, to longer the list gets.

what was the most technologically advanced thing you dealt with back home i wonder

Well, I did manage to see some rather cutting edge military equipment when I was in Germany for a time, but I also would not know what to properly call most of it... There was an armored vehicle on treads with an extraordinary canon mounted on it as well as some sort of system that was able to track people. How it worked, I do not know, but they carried a token, and thus their position was able to be shown by little dots moving on a map. It was very impressive.

I am aware, yes... I have been devoting a not insignificant amount of my waking hours to learning about, well, everything, seemingly. Technology really developed quickly, relatively speaking.
