Okay, so.
( Hello everybody, it's Vash the Stampede currently sitting on the floor in his room surrounded by an absolutely mammoth pile of plushies. It's fine, don't worry about it. ) I may not be the guy with all the Christmas knowledge, we don't really have it where I'm from, but I do know the whole point is gift-giving, right? And what do kids need in the gift-giving season? Toys. Now I've done my best at the arcade, won whatever I can, but I think the guy running the place is super out for my hide -. ( A laugh, bright and uncomplicated. It's fine. ) - which means I need help. Because the Orphanage has a whole range of ages, right? And maybe some of them don't want cuddly toys - who am I to judge?
( He is judging a teensy tiny bit, because he thinks cuddly animals are great. )
So toys. I was wondering if anyone had anything they wanted to donate. We had that whole thing with the fake guns, right? ( He pulls a face, but he's going to soldier on. ) And there were those little figures that one time. If anyone's got anything they don't want anymore that we could fix up to give to those in need that would be really great. Or if anyone wants to try their hand at the other machines, I guess as long as it's not me the owner can't be too pissed. Anything would be super appreciated. They deserve something nice too, you know?
( And while he's aware that some people here are angrier about the Transylvanian orphans than others, he's hoping everyone secretly has a good heart down deep. )

@hells kitchen
You are onto something with the plush, for example. Funtom Company's most popular item by far was the Bitter Rabbit--a charming line of plush rabbits with different clothing and accessories that you could customize them with.
(Additionally, I hope you do not mind my replying with text to your video. I find it a bit easier to use the voice-to-text function while I am working.)

they can wear clothes????
and no ur absolutely good, text is easier.
i think i have enough plushies that i can at least cover 2/3rds of the orphanage kids. i would buy the rest but i'm trying to source some other stuff for them too, like blankets, and snacks, and whatever else feels like it might be useful. admittedly i'm a little behind, i didn't know it was a thing until last month.

Blankets are also an excellent idea, though. Since we have the time, perhaps we should start a quilting circle?
[ is he joking or just a grandma who knows ]
Regardless, I will see what I can do to contribute. Improving a child's Christmas is a truly wonderful thing, yes?

i have a capybara wearing a donut as a necklace, so i guess clothes aren't too far off. but my lips are sealed if i ever meet anyone else who knows what a bitter rabbit is!
idk how to quilt. do u? i bet some people around do tho. hiyori is making stockings. maybe she knows.

But yes, I do know how to quilt. It is a bit tedious, but easy enough for anyone to learn with a bit of persistence and patience. I do my sewing by hand still, mind you, for the machines are too expensive to justify... Or they were, at least. I do not know about now. Perhaps they are cheaper?
Well, I will endeavor to start a project or two, since why not. I am always searching for little projects to take on, and this seems an excellent candidate.

( Task #2345 to avoid the Horrors. )
it's probably a little like sewing, right? i fix all my clothes up, i've just never made something from scratch before.

...Ah, well. Assuming your stitches are good, at least! I will have to evaluate that first, as we do not want your work to unravel, naturally.

[Namely, these cards.]

those are so neat.
i bet some of the kids would really love playing with something like that.
you sure you don't mind parting with them?

i'm usually at the orphanage, but it might be easier tracking me down on base. everlight room 22!

[Just give him a moment to gather up all of these cat cards in a container for them, and then Manjoume will head over to Everlight and knock on Vash's door here.]
no subject
Hi, uh -. Oh. I never even got your name. Trading card guy, right?
no subject
And you're... Vash or something, right?
[He also failed to remember your name until now, sorry.]
no subject
( They're all fully heaped up. Vash just laughs sheepishly. )
I want it to be a surprise since most of them aren't expecting anything.

[He will make sure to carefully avoid any plushes so that they don't get stepped on.]
Do you have a table I can put this on?
[He asks, as he holds up the box of cards he's brought here.]
