Good afternoon, all.

If we have not yet become acquainted, then please, allow me to introduce myself. I am Sebastian Michaelis, another recently arrived Outsider, and most pertinent for why I make this address today, recently employed on LILITH’s base here in Neo-Tokyo. My official title is the kitchen manager for the cafeteria, but as needs must, I have taken on some additional responsibilities. I may not be in service to my lord here, but I still feel it important to best offer my skill as a butler.

First, on matters of food.

I am attempting to improve the menu on offer in the cafeteria, and I hope that anyone that has stopped by to try the improved offerings in recent weeks has enjoyed them. However, I would very much like to expand such offerings. If there is a particular dish that you find yourself missing, please, do let me know. I will endeavor to recreate it with your assistance, though I can make no guarantees. If you have a recipe I can follow, all the better.

Second, on matters of facility maintenance.

While our automated services are adequate, I do believe that the order and cleanliness of the base could be improved. Thus, the additional responsibilities I have taken on. If you find any part of the base in disrepair or would perhaps like your personal quarters cleaned regularly, please let me know. It would be my pleasure to do so, as a tidy home makes for happier people.

If you would like a full list of services I offer, I would be glad to provide it. I simply fear that this is already a rather long announcement.

I am aware, yes. I had heard they were working on a cure for it, though? So, when you return to normal, the kitchen will be open to you.

But thank you for noticing. I do strive to offer excellent service in every task I take on. It is a butler's principles, I suppose!

Excellent Service. Well, I do hope someone will be subjected to that soon enough, that they can leave an unbiased review. I'm afraid I know where it falls flat. But, who am I to talk? I hate butlers.

Of course. I shall wish the best for you, in that case. It must be terribly difficult to be a very ordinary person, it does occur to me. Not to say that there is nothing to contribute, of course! But merely that it is much more to ask simply a man to fight such massive creatures, you know?

I have made acquaintance with some of the medical staff. Shall I put in a good word for you, Mr. Silco? I do not know how much sway I have, but... I may be able to have them consider that perhaps there are some that wish to keep their affliction.

Something I have said many times. And yet... here I am, contributing more than most. I have always believed that being handed power is the sort of thing that makes one lazy and ineffective. This just proves it.

I see... I hope you do not take offense for my asking, but this is a curiosity born of attempting to understand how things work here, you see. But what is it that you have contributed that is so noteworthy? I would gladly take notes from my seniors, of course!

Well, I helped defeat the last kaiju, and I'm an amenable enough type that I even engaged in "teamwork". Whatever you may say about that, it is a far cry more than most.

Beyond that, why, I am helping with the cleanup efforts within the city. My skills are sought after, you know.
