Good afternoon, all.
If we have not yet become acquainted, then please, allow me to introduce myself. I am Sebastian Michaelis, another recently arrived Outsider, and most pertinent for why I make this address today, recently employed on LILITH’s base here in Neo-Tokyo. My official title is the kitchen manager for the cafeteria, but as needs must, I have taken on some additional responsibilities. I may not be in service to my lord here, but I still feel it important to best offer my skill as a butler.
First, on matters of food.
I am attempting to improve the menu on offer in the cafeteria, and I hope that anyone that has stopped by to try the improved offerings in recent weeks has enjoyed them. However, I would very much like to expand such offerings. If there is a particular dish that you find yourself missing, please, do let me know. I will endeavor to recreate it with your assistance, though I can make no guarantees. If you have a recipe I can follow, all the better.
Second, on matters of facility maintenance.
While our automated services are adequate, I do believe that the order and cleanliness of the base could be improved. Thus, the additional responsibilities I have taken on. If you find any part of the base in disrepair or would perhaps like your personal quarters cleaned regularly, please let me know. It would be my pleasure to do so, as a tidy home makes for happier people.
If you would like a full list of services I offer, I would be glad to provide it. I simply fear that this is already a rather long announcement.

I suppose some of the offerings are more "efficient", such as those bars I see given out often? But they are an unhappy experience to consume... So, it is worth improving.

But I'm sure between the two of us, we can figure out some way to make everyone's stomachs and tastebuds happy. We just gotta find the right ingredients.

I have been doing some work with what is available, and while it is far from my best, I think I have been having luck in making things more passable. The preserved foods have been a better basis than those I find a bit more... mysterious, to put it politely.
But I would very much like to secure contracts for fresher ingredients. While the rarity is understandable, I do think that LILITH could leverage some of their importance to receive more favorable rates.

But, yes. LILITH is a considerable operation, so it necessitates contracts for supplies. I plan to review them all, for my suspicion is that they were negotiated when LILITH had less leverage to use.
Personally, I think that the so-called saviors of this world should be at least given consideration of fresh food, no matter how rare it may be.

I'm from Inazuma but that's right! Stir-fried noodles in a rich sauce, with whatever veggies and meat you happen to be feeling at the time. Or whatever you've got lying around. It's a pretty versatile recipe. I can teach you the ones I know if you'd like. Assuming they're the same as what you've been learning.
But I definitely agree with you. I mean, I know it's hard to get supplies out to the front line sometimes, but at least while we're here we should able to get fresh food. We're out there putting our lives on the line, it's the least they can do.

I feel you on needing to get settled in a bit, but I'd be happy to write down what I know and send it to you. I'm also happy to meet up in the kitchen for some more hands-on experience.

So, why not both, in that case? I will make a little cookbook of some of my most reliable recipes, and we can spend some time in the kitchen trying to create each others. It seems a good way to spend an afternoon, at the very least.

It is the same for me, really. Mr. Michaelis would be more correct, but Mr. Sebastian or simply Sebastian are also fine. I am not picky about what people call me, really.
