I just have a question, does anyone have access to any fire resistant footwear?
Sandals or er, sneakers? Is that what they're called? Anything is fine.
Or if anyone has any suggestions on how to prevent surfaces from burning when I stand on them, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm from the Underworld; fire and brimstone is sort of our thing, you see, so there wasn't anything to worry about there.
During the times I made it up to the surface, it was still winter, so the snow helped a lot in terms of mitigating potential damage.
Verdure is my mother's domain, so I just assumed it was her latent powers that protected her garden. Admittedly, I couldn't spend a lot of time there to begin with before the Styx would take me.

Yes, I believe certain mortals refer to it as such.
The Underworld I'm familiar with may be a little different from what you know of it, but technically, they're the same.

Well, it's not exactly the most pleasant place to be. But it's still my home.

I've always wanted to learn more about the mortal realm.
This is where my mother is from, and part of my heritage, so I suppose in some ways this may have been a good thing.

Though, and you'll have to pardon me if this is overstepping, but were you not able to visit often when you were younger?

For a long time, I didn't know where my mother was. She left after giving birth to me, and I was led to believe that the person who raised me was my mother.
After learning the truth, I'd attempted to find her. But as I'm bound to the Underworld, my time on the surface is limited.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm glad you've gotten this opportunity to explore the side of you that you weren't able to before.
