For those who do not know, several Outsiders have vanished into rifts. The first was Ereshkigal, during the kaiju battle in Egypt. As far as I know, no contact has been established.

Since then, three other Outsiders have also vanished: Ratio, Godzilla, Tsurumaru. I have been investigating but coming up mostly short.

There were no witnesses for Ratio's disappearance, but Nyuu and Hayakawa have confirmed that a rift opened and took both Godzilla and Tsurumaru. Only they were taken, despite not being alone at the time.

I may have a clue as to who is next.

I do not wish to cause panic or alarm, and I am not sure what can be done to prevent anyone else from being taken. I will bring these findings to LILITH as well.

During the mission in Egypt, we were inserted into the dreams and memories of other Outsiders. I saw one of Ereshkigal's. In this memory, she was speaking with several other Outsiders. Seven to be exact. Among them were Ratio, Godzilla, and Tsurumaru.

The other four were Yzak, Hiyori, Kabru, and Silco.

Kabru is already gone, though his name is gone from the network, a glitch. Those taken by the rifts are still listed, but unable to be contacted.

I would encourage those others in then memory to not be alone until this is solved.

If you have any other information you would like to document in this post, please do. We need to share what we can in order to get to the bottom of this. I pray you all stay safe.

you think it's a coincidence LILITH got struck with a fucking illness while people get kidnapped again?

[It's that worry which is fueling Yato's drive to find answers, too. If they couldn't stop any of the kidnappings last time, what's to say they stand any chance of it now?]

not likely. the two things occurred in quick succession for it to be just happenstance. either it's a deliberate attempt to take the fangs off LILITH or it's a side effect of the rifts popping up all over

[Damn thing is, if they all get kidnapped, whatever's pulling them in is gonna find themselves with death on their literal hands. They've killed kaiju before and they'll do it again!]

it's too focused to be a side effect. whatever's doing this wants LILITH out of the way.

[Well, that's one way of handling it. Just everybody get kidnapped until they have enough people to stop whoever or whatever is stealing them away.]

I wonder why it's not aiming for us, then. we're the ones who do assaults on kaiju and rescue missions. it doesn't make sense. unless it CAN'T target us Outsiders for some reason

how the hell should i know? unless a virus is able to recognize where you work.

[That's... a very fair point. One prison is as good as another? Although given the rifts make them sick, Yato's not sure he cares for the idea of being in one for long.]

that's actually an interesting notion - maybe there's something about LILITH's base that makes the germs transfer easier

[If it gave them immunity, they wouldn't be susceptible to rift poisoning. And he knows the Outsiders have gotten sick before. Pollen season.]

someone had to have brought the virus into the base first. none of us can put a fucking dent in their shields.

[Immunity to whatever this latest outbreak is then maybe? Just not all illnesses, obviously.]

the clean up crew after each kaiju fight, pilots for transport, the engineers at the transporter, all those bastards are part of the staff.

oh yeah. I was just thinking of the higher ups with their faces plastered on the transmissions they send out to us, like Seok Dang. guess it must've been one of the lower staff members, then

see, that's what I thought. but even they must need ways to have food delivered to them, I suppose

could that be where the infection got in? oh well. probably doesn't matter how, now, anyways

if the virus is controlled, it probably targeted one of the workers while they were out in the field.

can a virus target certain people only though...? that sounds almost as unlikely as some of our other theories

kaiju's have controlled brainwashing, nightmares, hypnosis, vampirism. one of them could make and control a virus.

I suppose that's a possibility. now the question is, is this remnants of the desert kaiju or an entirely new one?

I doubt it's the former since usually when we defeat them the hold they have over us weakens, not strengthens

i brought it up with shashou, but if that was done on purpose, we have bigger problems.

do you think that means the damn things are getting smarter? if they start doing that every time we face them, we're gonna be in serious shit

we can't just assume that it's Eresh, though. there very well could be another kaiju behind this

we're gonna have to step up our game if we wanna stay ahead of them. we can't afford screw ups like Seoul and Brasov anymore

if it's not here, it's probably something using her.

tch. we improved our strategy in egypt. lilith found the kaiju and we took the fight to it instead of letting it ravage the damn city.
