For those who do not know, several Outsiders have vanished into rifts. The first was Ereshkigal, during the kaiju battle in Egypt. As far as I know, no contact has been established.
Since then, three other Outsiders have also vanished: Ratio, Godzilla, Tsurumaru. I have been investigating but coming up mostly short.
There were no witnesses for Ratio's disappearance, but Nyuu and Hayakawa have confirmed that a rift opened and took both Godzilla and Tsurumaru. Only they were taken, despite not being alone at the time.
I may have a clue as to who is next.
I do not wish to cause panic or alarm, and I am not sure what can be done to prevent anyone else from being taken. I will bring these findings to LILITH as well.
During the mission in Egypt, we were inserted into the dreams and memories of other Outsiders. I saw one of Ereshkigal's. In this memory, she was speaking with several other Outsiders. Seven to be exact. Among them were Ratio, Godzilla, and Tsurumaru.
The other four were Yzak, Hiyori, Kabru, and Silco.
Kabru is already gone, though his name is gone from the network, a glitch. Those taken by the rifts are still listed, but unable to be contacted.
I would encourage those others in then memory to not be alone until this is solved.

Lunging, pulling the other man into a bone-crushing embrace, he buries his face in Yzak's shoulder.
He's trembling. Like a man overboard who's just been snatched from the icy waters of despair.]

[ Yes, there is actual confusion in his voice as one hand comes up to rest just under Dearka's shoulder. ]

[He takes a breath. Closes his eyes. Gulps. Opens his eyes again.]
You tell me you're in your room. I show up, I walk in, and the place is empty?! I thought you got taken like the rest of them!
[It's not like Dearka to let his fear get the better of him, but the emotional whiplash he just went through.... It's just too much.]
looks away and closes my eyes
Blinks once.
Twice.
He hears that surge of emotion in Dearka's voice, sees the still uncalmed panic in his face. There's a sharp pang of guilt in his chest, but he's still so flabbergasted by the absurdity of this timing, since uh, ]
I just went to the bathroom!
[ That's all he's able to blurt out in response. ]

[Still agitated, he paces briefly and then steps over towards yzak's bed so he can sit down heavily on the edge of it. Head bowed, he stares at the floor for a few moments.]

He watches Dearka sit down and ... that gets him to deflate a little as that guilt pokes at him some more. And then, a little more sheepishly: ]

Yzak makes a couple of those strained, frustrated little noises, like he's having some kind of inner battle about what to say next. What comes out after that is a sigh, his shoulders sagging. The way Dearka grabbed him just now like he was the most precious treasure in the world that would all but kill him to lose... ]

[There's a bit of an apologetic tone to his words. He's still kind of low-key upset, but he's also self-aware enough to realize that it's mostly because he was just scared.]

[ He steps over to close the distance between them, dropping a hand down onto Dearka's shoulder to squeeze it. Yeah, he just gave Yzak a bone-crushing hug, he doesn't need any more assurance; he's very real and very here and very okay. But he just wants to do this to emphasize that apology a little more. And to show that he appreciates his concern. ]
Now that I know you can be this punctual, you no longer have an excuse back home when it's time for practice.
[ It's usually Dearka making the silly, lighthearted jokes to break the tension, but this is one of those rare times where Yzak takes the initiative to do that.

You know what happens when Yzak makes a joke.
Dearka fucking laughs. Even when it's made at his own expense, apparently! He laughs, almost too hard, even.]
Try making the practices a little more interesting first. THEN we'll see.
[And then he grabs Yzak's hand before he can reply, falling backwards and playfully pulling Yzak down with him.
