Ratio's missing.
And not just in the "they've left this world" way people tend to go missing, someone took him. And if I find out that it's one of you--
I'm finding him and there is nothing on this backwater dying planet that will keep me from destroying whatever is between me and him. That's your one and final warning.

Aventurine-san, would it be alright if I asked you some question in order to aid an investigation?
[If the answer is no, fine. But if not:]
What is the address of the hotel? Did he say where he was going or when he'd be back? Did anything seem out of the ordinary before he left? Like his mood, or the way he was acting?

We ordered something for the cats. He was going down to pick it up because he was ( he knew what day it was. he was gentle, but with a refreshing firmness aventurine craved. and now he's gone. ) Nothing was different

There are more of us who can join you in expanding your search efforts. Do you have reason to believe that someone specifically targeted Dr. Ratio?

So try clearing that head of yours enough to realize that much so we can start being a little more rational about what to do.

@BAD DADDY
[ He's still going to be mean. Just.
Less mean. ]
One would think after one, we would be taking better precautions. Now that there are two...
Clearly, a touch more healthy paranoia should be employed. One never knows when there is a pair of arms ready to push, after all.
[ He's continuing with the bit from tary's post. Like an Asshole ]

@AUO
It seems rather uncanny that he disappeared directly after Ereshkigal did.

[Both the disappearance and pretty much the entirety of that text post.]
I can't think of anyone would do do something like that.
[Which doesn't mean he wasn't taken, just that she's stumped here. Not that she's going to put too much effort into this mystery. More pressing than the other reported disappearance she thinks, but also they can manage fine with a couple of missing people should they still be missing when the next kaiju shows up.]

The kid and I had a talk—he's gonna cool his heels for a little bit.
... The help is appreciated.
[ Aventurine is unconscious, and in that sense, he has calmed down... a little bit.]

@ curse, @ kuzunoha14 and anyone else who might be out looking
It took a bit but we managed to get access to the hotel's security feeds and review everything. Far as we can tell, Doc never even made it down to the lobby.
We checked the feeds for the other exits as well: emergency doors & employee corridors, the works. Cross-checked it with the building's blueprints too. There's no way he left that building. Or if he did, he didn't do it by normal means.
I don't know what the hell to make of it. The exits were all thoroughly covered by surveillance, but there're a few interior blind-spots in the feeds that might be worth going to investigate in person.
