[text] @goddess of death
[ Following this exchange, the goddess posts this on the network: ]
Greetings everyone (edit: except Silco).
I come to ask for your shared wisdom following a disagreement I have had with one of our peers, Bakugล Katsuki. I am of the opinion that his unusual vocabulary, his aggressive predisposition and his unstable temper are a detriment to his social life. I have personally experienced difficulties communicating properly with him, seeing how all conversations quickly devolve into a purposeless rain of insulting words before any progress can be made.
When I said as much, he suggested the problem comes from myself. He accuses me of taking his words too literally and of behaving in too much of a maternal manner towards him. I admit it is a possibility we simply don't see eye to eye - however, I doubt his temper, poor choice of words and aggressiveness are limited to our interactions.
This is why I am asking for your wisdom and opinion, especially those familiar with Bakugo to - hopefully - help him see reason.
Thank you kindly!

You're one of the few people who can accomplish his life goals in an entirely different unrelated world.
no subject
Which means I need to not be killed by weak-willed goddesses who cannot handle it when someone tells them a truth they don't want to hear.
no subject
Whatever you do here won't mean shit for your homeworld.
no subject
I can assure you, it will matter. Either for my homeworld, or for this one in some way. It's up to them if they choose to see me leave my mark here or there.
[ :) Threateningly ]
no subject
No shit. They can send you home in an instant, so you won't be anyone's problem but your own and your world's.
Unless a kaiju kills you first.
[or the other outsiders, since apparently this man is 'most detested number one' in majority vote.]
no subject
[ crying... silco... just stop lying to people already ]
Sure, they could send me home on a whim. Wouldn't that be terrible? I'm sure I would be devastated to be back where I belong.
[ And devastated if any of his contingency plans
that will not work because i said sofailed ]no subject
[prepare never to be trusted again. or have a very bratty response of "so what do you really mean?" at every single thing he says. trolling petty brat.]
We should all be back where we belong. At least we should've been given the choice.
[No one deserves to be kidnapped. Even if he understands why people would want to stay here. Himself included.
"because i said so" - i'm laughing!]no subject
Oh, correct. Wouldn't it be nice if they asked? Have you ever heard of a company asking anything of the people? We are their commodity, fighting Kaiju for their profit.
We'll see if they fulfill their promises. At the end of the day, though, we have no choice, do we? So we'll make this as palatable as we must. Whether that is indulging in dreams of them fulfilling their promises or not, hm?
no subject
Uh-huh. [Polls, interviews, consumer supply, a bunch of other bullshit they ask about before doing.] Kidnapping people you want to fight for you as mercenaries is a shitty decision. They didn't take us cause we're weak.
[And pissing off people who you admit are stronger than anything you could drum up before... is another really stupid idea. SO YES!! THEY SHOULD'VE FUCKING ASKED FIRST!!]
We always have a choice.
Yeah, making a mess of things will only get in the way of our victory.
no subject
What would happen, I wonder? Perhaps I should try it next time, and see?
[ Ah, but he won't. Again, he's just talking shit. ]
Let us hope we will find victory at the end, and won't be left spinning our wheels for years on end.
I don't know about you, but that sounds a worse fate than getting eaten by a Kaiju at this point.
no subject
You wanna try next time, go for it. Tell us what happens, guinea pig.
[Bakugo's wondered the same thing. LILITH is able to knock them out and mute their powers via the ocular, but neither of those would help if an Outsider refused to fight. Noncompliance would likely end up with the Outsider simply sent home and deemed a failed soldier. LILITH doesn't always land good candidates.]
We will. We didn't come here to lose. We'll slaughter these bastards until they stop coming or we shut the fucking door forever.
Haa?! You'd rather die than live here for a few years?
no subject
[ this skrungly little guy keeps DOING shit somebody stop him
no really he needs to stop doing things or his head's going to get too big ]
A few years? I've already been gone long enough. While the people here continue to ask for me [ him! ] to fight monsters, to save them, my own have nothing of the sort.
I'm sure you can understand my dissatisfaction with the arrangement.
no subject
[Even if he gets that's mostly sarcasm on the other end. Still, he brings up an interesting point. What if someone truly didn't care and refused to assist at all? Likely get the boot. Wasting time and resources on someone who won't budge is idiotic.]
You're worried about the people in your own world?
no subject
[ Literally will bitch about anything.
Anyway, he's curious too, but not curious enough to try it. What if the consequences were worse? Silco is a piece of shit, and self-serving, and a snake; but he's also a powerless human who wants to survive. He's doing his best. ]
I dislike loose threads. My home is a mess of them.
no subject
[So long as he's not doing it where Bakugo has to hear the incessant whining.
Don't tell him the "powerless human" crap cause that'll make the whole "killed a god" thing even more ridiculous to believe. And raises the question why Eresh hasn't done him in yet for pissing her off.]
Here's not gonna help with that.
no subject
[ welcome to threading with silco, bakugo. he doesn't listen. :') ]
We will see, won't we?
[ He doesn't believe it any more than Bakugo does, but he also ain't just gonna toss the possibility away either.
the scrap of possibility is all that keeps him playing nice]no subject
[if it gets too annoying, bakugo's got zero problems with hanging up.]
Only you and whoever's from your world will.
[Then again, when Bakugo went home, there was some money in his bank account no one knew quite how it got there, so... at least the compensation part wasn't a lie? Not something he's mentioned to anyone, or plans to, ever.]
no subject
[ And if Silco has money, he'll get to enjoy that for the whole.
last day and a half he has left before he gets shot by his daughter :)
good job buddy gold star ]
no subject
[What a future to look forward to. Sure know how to pick your kids, man.]
no subject
[ I mean. It's his fault mostly ]
no subject
[He was not. Mostly curious.]
no subject
I noticed that LILITH does tend to target groups. People from the same world. Have you? I wonder if they think it will help with the cohesion?
no subject
It's rare they bring in someone useless. They're probably able to get an idea of a world or target before launching a net.
