What's with all of these weird craft videos online and why are they like that? Is this some sort of satire I don't get because I haven't been here long enough? Who is this for?
I mean, baking an entire multi-colored cake only to cut a slice and freeze it in resin... That's got to be some kind of joke I'm not getting, right?

Okay, these aren't nearly as bad. The chalk and sidewalk one was actually pretty creative.
Although I'm a little concerned about how hard some of them were to cut through. Should it be that hard to do?

i guess if you consider the cakes were made for the video and not necessarily to consume, then it's not a big deal if its difficult to slice through.
none of those cakes actually look good to eat honestly.

I'm kind of torn.
Some of those videos looked to be made by people who do this kind of thing for a living, so this is as much a form of advertisement for them as it is for entertainment, right?
You'd think they'd pick something that was made to look like it tastes good too. Unless that isn't the point of the business either?
