Indeed it has not. It is one of the first things I noticed after arriving, I must admit. It is perhaps why I was hired as a kitchen manager in the first place, as I took it upon myself to improve matters...

The egg "substitutes" are not as bad as I feared, but in principle, I agree that it is a poor showing. Why, even in famine, keeping fowl is not so difficult, so it really is a testament to how troubling this situation is.

Regardless. I have only just started, so I cannot promise anything, but I have been reaching out to what suppliers LILITH already has contact with. If not truly fresh meat and eggs, I was hoping that I may at least be able to negotiate a favorable agreement with the "lab grown" alternatives.
