i don't remember any sort of contract
but typically the employer doesn't kidnap people from home and make them work here

but what do i know

Yeah I think that's pretty sketchy.

I would get it if they held back some of our pay but there's got to be minimum wage laws, right? I read about those.

i don't think anything like that exists here in dystopia japan
our situation is kind of unique... they don't seem like the type that would want to follow any a-typical work/labor kind of rules

but what do i know
