There aren't many spirits in this world. 👻🚫
🧐🧐🧐 Or maybe there are and they're just hard to sense❓

Still, this time of year would usually be when they're most active so it's a little disappointing. 🪦🥀

I know. I've heard telling stories 🗣📖 can invoke the gods and other spirits (~'o')~ So why don't we tell some stories? (◍ ´꒳` ◍)

If we can tell a hundred tales then maybe something surprising will happen. But a hundred would take a long time and the game isn't as much fun if it isn't in person... 👻🏮🏮🏮🏮🏮😔

Well, let's just tell as many as we can❗❗❗(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ )🌟
There are so many of us from other worlds so there should be something interesting to hear. 🔮

(Summer is spooky season in Japan! It's time to share ghost stories and other tales of the mysterious and unknown. Or just talk to Tsurumaru about spirit things. He's here to have a good time.)

Well

I suppose when you put it that way...

[ It's not really a conventional summoning method, but it did work. Why does she feel like the words "sucker" are writ plain on her forehead right now? ]

My apologies (T_T)

I am unfamiliar with the customs in your culture, it was uncalled for of me to doubt you.

If Izanami is capable of letting the spirits return to the surface for a day and then bring them all back to the Underworld, she must be even more formidable than I thought.

Yes. Letting them out of their cages is too risky unless they're ready to move on.

They could freeze or fade away. The latter is something they are given the choice, but most souls aren't ready to make such a choice when they arrive.

Maybe it would be possible if I had help besides my Gallû Spirits to oversee the process.

I know it's a season to commemorate the deceased.

But I am afraid that's the extent of my knowledge.

A time of celebration...

[ That's so different from how they do things in her culture. ]

I like that.

Death is sorrowful, but it is what gives its meaning to life. If life knew no end, it would not be as beautiful and precious as it is.

It heartens me to hear there are cultures where life and death are celebrated in such ways.
