It is the truth, even if they do not wish to admit it. Being mediocre does not mean you cannot accomplish anything or live a fulfilling life; it simply means you should not expect to reach the levels of a Genius. I consider myself among the mediocre as well.
And being a fool is easily rectified with some critical thinking. I am a teacher precisely because I wish to cure the universe of the ailment known as idiocy.
